Singer and actress Pavlína Matiová (1988) was born in Roudnice nad Labem into a Roma musician family. She graduated from a secondary pedagogical school and is a graduate of the conservatory in the field of singing. She is a member of the theater group Ara Art. She has performed in several musical titles at the Vinohrady Theater, the Hybernina Theater, the Karlín Music Theater and the Congress Center. She is the first Romani woman to sing as a soloist in Prague’s Rudolfinum. She currently works in the theater group Ara Art, gives concerts with the band Lače manuša, collaborates with Grammy Award winner Oran Etkin and devotes himself to his own music.
Jakub Tököly was born on April 23, 1990 in Nová Bana into a family with a deep musical tradition. His passion for music began in his early childhood. After graduating from elementary art school, he acquired and expanded his musical knowledge at the J.L. Bell Conservatory in Banská Bystrica. In addition to classical music, which began to shape him during this period, an intense element of Jazz entered his life. In Banská Bystrica he became a student of the leading jazz pianist and teacher Klaudia Kováč. During this period, Martin Uhereka became a member of the quartet.
